Neshaminy School District
Art Show
The
Neshaminy School District Annual District Art Show 2004 held its opening
night reception on Tuesday, May 25th at 7:00 p.m. in Gym
#1 at Neshaminy High School. The Art Show opened to the public on
May 25th, 26th and 27th from 7:00-9:00 p.m.
The
event provided an opportunity to view the unique individual talents of students
and the collaborative efforts of those involved in the Fine Arts Program.
The show featured works of art created by students in kindergarten
through twelfth grade. It is an
honor to have one’s artwork selected, because each art teacher submits no more
than forty pieces of artwork.
The
selections for the St. Mary Medical Center Exhibit and Middletown Municipal
Center were announced and the awards were given to the District Art Show
Poster Contest winners. In addition
to the student artwork, faculty artwork from the art department were on
display and there was ensemble music presentations for everyone's enjoyment
and entertainment.
