Fifth Grade Information
Dear Parents of Next Year's Fifth Graders,
Even though this school year is just over, we wanted to take this time opportunity to let you know what your son or daughter will need for fifth grade.
The following supplies will help your child get the school year off to a good start:
 | A 2-inch, 3-ring binder - Responsibility and accountability are a strong focus in fifth grade as we work to prepare our students for middle school and we find that teaching the children how to keep a neat, well-organized notebook goes a long way in that regard. It is our experience that the type of binders that children find work the best are the ones that zip to close up the binder. |
| Notebook dividers with tabs - Students will be required to keep a section for each subject and this type of organization does help them keep track of their work so they have it when they need it. |
| Pencils with erasers |
| Blue or black pens only |
| Highlighters - one each of the following colors: green, yellow and pink |
| A 4-pack of dry erase markers - fine point |
You do not need to buy an assignment book as our PTO provides our students with Agenda Books, which they are required to use for assignments on a daily basis.
