How You Can Help!

You can help to raise money for our new playground equipment, field trips, and classroom supplies for all the students at Schweitzer.

All you have to do is food shop, save receipts, and clip labels or box tops. It is so easy. Just send in the receipts, labels, or box tops into school with your child. In each classroom, there is a box for any collected items. See the list below for more information.

Genuardi’s & the Escript Program

If you already have a Genuardi’s club card, go to or www.genuardis.com and register your current card to designate Schweitzer Elementary School to receive cash back. Albert Schweitzer’s school ID # is 6562265 If you do not have a Genuardi’s club card, stop at the courtesy desk at Genuardi’s Supermarket, complete the application and designate Schweitzer Elementary School to receive cash back. Just present your Genuardi’s Club card each time you shop there and Albert Schweitzer will receive cash back….no need to save your register receipt…..It’s that simple! Also, by registering any credit card at www.escrip.com, participating merchants contribute a percentage of your purchases with that card to Schweitzer, some up to 10%!!! Redner’s Warehouse Markets

Simply stop at the courtesy desk on your next visit and sign up for a ‘Save-a-Tape’ Card. Present this card each time you shop. The words ‘Save A Tape’ will appear on the bottom of your receipt. Save these receipts and send them into school with your child. Redner’s will give 1 % cash back. For instance, If 50 families (we have more than that!) with an average of $75.00/week in supermarket expenditures (we spend more that that, too!) were to save tapes for one year, Albert Schweitzer would receive a check for $1950.00!!!! Please save the ‘Box-tops for Education’ Coupons located on General Mills & Betty Crocker products. Each one is worth $.10 to Albert Schweitzer. Just send them into school with your child. Printer Cartridge & Cell Phone Recycle Program

Attention Computer & Cell Phone Users!!!!!

In September we will start to collect empty printer ink cartridges & old cell phones. They will be recycled and Schweitzer will receive credit towards the purchase of computer equipment for the library. Just put them into a plastic bag and send them into school with your child.
