The PTO would like to thank you for your continued support
of our fundraising efforts. We do, however, want to stress that we do not expect
our Schweitzer families to support all of our fundraisers. It is at the
request of the parents that we offer a variety of different fundraisers,
especially around the holidays. For example, many of our families are fond of
Gertrude Hawk candy. Other parents have requested that we sell other things such
as wrapping paper. We are trying to provide an assortment of ideas that will
satisfy everyone.
Dates for our fundraisers are chosen so that we may receive
the maximum profit and still guarantee delivery in time for the holidays.
For that reason, there are occasionally activities that overlap, although we try
to have only one fundraiser occurring at any given time. Additionally, at
the request
of the parents, we have provided a timeline for the events and fundraisers
throughout the year so you are able to plan accordingly.
We are always open to suggestions and ideas. Please call any
board member or representative listed in this booklet to share your thoughts.
Finally, we would like to remind you throughout the school year (and through the
summer months) to save Campbell’s Soup labels, Redner’s ‘Save a Tape’
register tapes, ‘Box Tops for Education’ coupons, empty printer cartridges,
old cell phones
and use your ‘Genuardi’s’ and ‘Target’ Visa cards. Schweitzer
will earn $$$$$$$ at no additional cost to you.
